Groups are the foundation of how external talent is organized in Shortlist. The first question to ask yourself here is, "How do I want to organize my talent?".

Talent should be grouped in ways that best fit your organization, keeping in mind that each external talent can be in multiple groups at once.

Example - a website developer who specializes in Javascript and lives in Denver. This person can be placed in 3 Groups:

1. Website Developers for their job function
2. Javascript for their main skillĀ or service
3. Denver for their location

This allows the individual to appear in searches based on job, service and location.
