What Is the Verification Code?
During your first-time registration on Worksuite, the platform sends a 4-digit verification code to the email address you signed up with. This code confirms that you own the email and allows you to continue setting up your account.
You'll see a screen asking you to enter this code right after submitting your registration details. The code is sent immediately — but depending on your email provider, it may take a moment to arrive.
The verification code is 4 digits (e.g., 4829). It's not the same as a 2FA code from an authenticator app — this one comes directly to your email inbox.Where to Find the Email
The verification code email can sometimes be hard to spot, especially if your inbox is busy or your email filters are aggressive. Here's where to look:
Step 1: Check Your Main Inbox
Look for an email from Worksuite with a subject line related to verification or registration. It should arrive within a minute or two of registering.
Step 2: Check These Folders
If you don't see it in your main inbox, check these folders — this is where the email ends up most of the time:
- Spam / Junk — The most common culprit. Email filters often flag automated emails.
- Promotions — Gmail users: check the Promotions tab. Verification emails frequently land here.
- Updates — Some email providers sort transactional emails into an Updates or Notifications folder.
- All Mail — In Gmail, try All Mail to see everything regardless of tabs or filters.
- Focused / Other — Outlook users: check the Other tab in your Focused Inbox.
Step 3: Search Your Inbox
If you still can't find it, use your email's search bar. Try searching for:
- "verification code"
- "Worksuite"
- "verify your email"
- "4-digit code"
Pro tip: If you use Gmail, try searching in:anywhere worksuite — this searches every folder including Spam and Trash.Entering Your Code
Once you've found the email with your 4-digit code, entering it is simple:
- Go back to the Worksuite registration screen where it's asking for your verification code. (If you closed the tab, reopen the registration link — it should pick up where you left off.)
- Type in the 4-digit code exactly as it appears in the email.
- Click Verify or Continue.
- You'll be taken to the next step of your account setup.
Note: The code must be entered on the same device/browser where you started registration. If you switch devices, you may need to restart the registration process.Didn't Receive the Code?
If you've checked all your folders and searched your inbox but still can't find the email, try these steps:
Double-Check Your Email Address
Make sure the email address you registered with is correct. A small typo (like .con instead of .com) means the code is going to the wrong place. If you spot a mistake, you may need to restart registration with the correct email.
Check for Email Blocks
Some corporate or school email systems block automated emails by default. If you're using a work or institutional email, try these options:
- Ask your IT team to whitelist emails from Worksuite.
- Try registering with a personal email (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) instead.
Wait a Few Minutes
Email delivery can sometimes be delayed by 2–5 minutes, especially with larger email providers. If you just clicked Resend, give it a moment before trying again.
Note: If you request multiple codes, only the most recent one will work. Don't use an older code from a previous email — always use the latest one you received.Code Expired or Not Working
If you enter your code and it's not accepted, here are the most common reasons:
- The code expired. Verification codes are time-sensitive. If too much time passed between receiving and entering the code, click Resend Code to get a new one.
- You're using an old code. If you clicked Resend multiple times, only the most recent code is valid. Find the newest email from Worksuite and use that code.
- Extra spaces. Make sure you didn't accidentally copy a space before or after the 4 digits.
- Wrong registration session. If you closed and reopened the registration page, the session may have reset. Try clicking Resend Code from the current screen to get a code that matches your active session.
If none of the above works, don't worry — our support team can help you get verified manually.
